This is the 5th song/demo from my band/production team, Green the Light.
This one is a demo of my Schecter C7 7 string guitar entitled "King Donko of Puncho," which comes from a line from Aqua Teen Hunger Force if any of you are cool enough to know that.
The main distorted riffs are the D Sonic 7 in the bridge. The "bridge" section is played on the Neck HB, which is a Deactivator 7, and the light melody over the bridge is the middle Blaze Custom, here set to Parallel HB.
Also important to note, this is the first song that I (Jacob) did all of the guitar parts for. Pretty decent for about 2 weeks of playing ;)
Us (for this song):
Jacob (me): Drums/ Programming/Production/Guitar/Bass
Austin: Bass
Recording Notes: DAW is Logic Pro 9 in an older Intel iMac. Drums are from Toontrack's Metal Foundry and NY Avatar, all programmed in the piano roll for this song (exactly as I would play them live), with most compression and EQ through the Toontrack Easymix plugin. Electric Guitars and Bass were recorded through my VOX Tonelab ST through various custom patches, then into speaker impulses from Redwirez and Deconvolve. The Tonelab was the real key to making this song sound great (so much better than any amp plugins IMO, and I've tried alot of them). The only other plugins used were the Channel EQ and Adaptive Limiter within Logic Pro. Check the Tags for some of our influences for this one.
Sounds muddy to be honest. :(

@BabyFaceDestroyer Yeah, I thought that too. But it's just a demo so if I ever finalize it, it will get brightened up. I already did a quick remix of it and it sounds better. For the near future maybe. Austin is trying to get his computer working again after a full factory reset and once that's happening, we are going to record our next song with his Blackstar amp. Hopefully that turns out baller.
