sounds like it. if only the song stayed sounding so mysterious like this. even a short clip like this proves that r.e.m. were always meant to follow their instincts, & i think that's why (I believe) accelerate is a better album than collapse into now & their best since hi-fi. i think audience expectation really got to them after bill berry left & with accelerate it was obvious they had a short regaining of their not giving a fuck attitude
