This is the new Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III, a retooled and refueled update of this very popular working man's tube amp. This 40-watt, 1x12 combo delivers big Fender 6L6 tone in a rugged platform that's perfect for any studio or live gig. Three channels with varying levels of gain, a bright switch, and a master volume let the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III deliver an impressive range of clean and dirty tones at any volume, and an effects loop makes it very pedal friendly. The redesigned footswitch is quite compact, so as to fit easily on a crowded pedalboard, and a non-reflective black control panel makes settings easy to see even under bright stage lighting. The Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III 's tonal upgrades include a redesigned tone circuit and a new Celestion G12P speaker, resulting in tighter bass, smoother drive, and more mid-range punch. - http://proguitarshop.com/store/amplifiers-fender-amplifiers-c-4_5/fender-hotr...

  • I'm still shocked by the tone in the first 50 seconds

  • @slowmonkey156 Like wich ones, dude? I mean, i'm probably getting this one ou the hot rod deville, but it's good to hear more good amps in the same price range.

  • @themanfromutopia1 I watch the Andy Griffith Show because the sheriff's name is Andy.

  • I make all my friends wear Andy face masks on a regular basis so I feel like I'm in an Andy Utopia where I am surrounded by multiple Andys. (I also call my penis Andy for it's "smooth, clean tones")

  • I guess the amp sounds a little better now, but still not that great...don't get me wrong, I'm a Fender amp NUT (you'd have to pry my Twin Reverb from my cold, dead fingers), but I've never been a fan of the hot rod series. There's better-sounding amps for the same price range out there.

  • @1FaTaLMentality I thought the same! in your honor! :D

  • such great demos, that's the way you have to play a fender guitar!! ;)

  • @TheGuitargeek94 Extremely well! Every pedal I've tried through it has sounded wonderful. That said, the cleans are not all that great and the od channels are nothing to write home about, but pushed with a decent od pedal the sound is up there with the best.

  • Does this amp take pedals well?

  • He was playing foofighters!
