@raahulworld No one knows the origin of the IE Languages. Latvian is almost a mirror language of Sanskrit--and another dialect of Latvian was Hittite. Surprise! Did the Latvians and their brothers in Anatolia come from India? No! If you doubt go to Lexiline.com. The Tocharians lived on the edge of the desert in western China yet their 2 languages are Centum languages while Sanskrit is a Satem Language--The Satem language. I'm beginning to believe in the Tower of Bable. Who were the Aryans?

@Bhoeble And sanskrit has been considered the mother of all languages..The region where you find most diverse dialectscof a language is considered the birthplace of the language and proto-indo-european language has most dialects in India than in whole europe and asia..

@Bhoeble 'Just about the Battle of Plassey, Industrial Revolution had begun in England. Manufacturing on larger scale had replaced cottage industry & farming. Factories had to be kept humming and products sold at profit. The best place the British could find to export their manufactured goods was India. Hence, India’s commercial, manufacturing and agricultural sectors, which had existed for thousands of years, were to be completely dismantled. This they went about with great finesse..'

@Bhoeble British Governor General Lord McCauley’s speech to the British Parliament on Feb 2, 1835
"I have traveled across the length and breadth of India and I have not seen one person who is a beggar, who is a thief. Such wealth I have seen in this country, such high moral values, people of such caliber, that I do not think we would ever conquer this country, unless we break the very backbone of this nation" i'll mail you te rest..its not possible here

@Bhoeble here's a quote by historians for u,"All these reforms lead to an explosive growth in Indian economy. Akbar ruled 50 million prosperous subjects and a huge economy. At that time India and China together accounted for 50% of the world’s GNP. A major economic catastrophe occurred when Nadir Shah (1739), a Persian buccaneer invaded Delhi and decamped with booty of $1 billion in today’s money. He was so happy with the take that he remitted all taxes of the Iranian people for next five years"

@Bhoeble ha ha..Do you even know history? In the 17th and 18th century india accounted for 25% of the world trade!India was richest nation in world followed by china. That is the reason why everyone called India 'Golden Bird' at that time and dont forget Columbus set out to search for trade route to India when he accidently found America..India was a very rich place and within 150 years of british occupation India's global trade share decreased from 25% to mere 2% in 1947! Nehru also believed so..

@ThinkingGuy100 Wrong, Sanskrit is just one of many early Indo-European languages. The common source language is proto-Indo-European, which was not spoken in India. The most common hypothesis is that it was spoken on the Pontic Steppe, i.e. in Europe. The second most popular theory is that it was spoken in Anatolia, which is closer to Europe than it is to India.

@raahulworld India was miserably poor, like almost everywhere almost all the time until recently. Indian nationalists imagine a fantasy world in which everyone was a maharaja. The reality is that most Indians lived in mud floored huts, and life expectancy in India in 1800 was lower in than it was in Anglo-Saxon England. India had made hardly any progress for two thousand years, and if the west hadn't created industrial civilisation, it might not have made much for the next two thousand.

@adityabose26 This is a white man who lived a hundred years ago. Indians also had slavery, everyone did until recently - it was whites who cracked down on it worldwide, or it would still be with us. By contrast, the caste system is still around, and fading only slowly. Your comment about Rome and Greece not being European is pure prejudice.
look at the genius explaining that cattle produces absolutely nothing.
