I agree with you on how halo 3 did not have enough close quarters maps but the legendary and mythic map packs have some pretty good close quarters maps.

the only way throwing grenades is tactical in my opion is in halo 1 when invading a base causing havok, but in halo 3 yah i agree it sux 0) <--- cyclops

Not every playlist. Lone Wolves is probably the only one that needs the base game and no other maps. I was so pissed off at getting Halo 3 during the summer because I couldn't play online (No LIVE) and when I came on everyone had maps I didn't have. ODST has a bonus disc, and sometimes a developer will bring out a bonus disc or GOTY edition that contains DLC. Case in point: Fallout 3;GTA IV.
