Clinton: Peru es el único pais que disfruta crecimiento pese a crisis mundial

Clinton: Peru is the only country showing growth in the region despite global crisis.

Lima, Mar. 27 (ANDINA).- Former U.S. President Bill Clinton emphasized this afternoon that Peru is the only country in Latin America experiencing economic growth despite the global financial crisis.

He considered that Peru's economy, compared to other nations in the world, is still in great conditions.

However, he indicated that global demand will decline this year, which will cause a negative impact on the worlds countries, including Peru.

Clinton made these statements during a conference on economic development presented at the Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas, in Lima.
