Student Film done at
Emerson College

This ending was the original written ending to A History of Violence. When the film finally came out, the ending was changed. We decided to take the ending that was originally written and make it into our final project for class.

  • @patrickcurran33 oh, I see. Well really clever and really well done. You all will go far. I look forward to future projects.

  • @SithianHawk What was really cool was that the original script differed from what was actually seen in Cronenberg's film. Which allowed us to put it into our own context and show that it didn't have to be guys that we're in their 40's playing these roles, it could be about younger up and comers. And the relationships of best friends and how they deteriorate over time and mass amounts of stress. The largest change were that they were not brothers, but close enough that they could have been.

  • wait... I really like this a lot but what was the significance of the parallels between the Cronenberg film?
