Be more offended by blind racial allegiances that overlook the following:
75% disappearance rate of Jordan HS 9th graders & how ONLY 12% of all incoming 9th graders finish with university eligibility
72% CAHSEE failure rates in math & 68% in ELA.
Why fire a teacher who motivates students of color to be better readers, writers, & thinkers when so many others don't?
Why protect repressive principals who weaken our communities?
What would the ancestors of oppressed people say about that?

As an educator that works @ Jordan & an African American I do not appreciate the music in the background that refers to Strachan as an "uncle tom." How dare you make that comment? I've taught Malcolm X, Down These Mean Streets, Manchild in the Promised Land & other texts, all purchased by Strachan. A lot of us put in time & resources at Jordan; but you have lost all my respect with your "uncle tom" comment. I'm highly offended by your actions.
