I'm trying to view my video shoots from my camcorder to my laptop while on the road and is asking me to plug in my power adapter in order to view my shoots. Do you know how can get to view my video with out the power adapter. I don't want to be taking out my SD card all the time. Thank you.

@petenicezz You don't need to plug the power adaptor into the wall, just plug the power adaptor into the camera. It's a small thing, a power issue but just plug it into the camera and forget about plugging it into the wall if you have sufficient power in the camera. You can also do this and transfer the files via usb. I hope this helps.

I was interested in this camera until you said that if you wanted to burn to DVD you would lose quality, is that true? I am a videographer and I need a camera to record weddings and such, and if I can't put the video on disc, would this camera be worthless for me?

@TheMakeItHappenShow It's not that you lose quality but this camcorder is made to make blu-ray type movies which are substantially better quality than DVD. You can still make DVD's that will look great though. On another note, you may want to consider getting at DSLR since you're doing weddings. You'll get more bang for your buck because the still pictures on this camera are only okay. (Ex: Canon EOS Rebel T1i EF-S 18-55mm IS Kit - $750) Just a thought.
