Had the plane been properly maintained, there would be no need to even consider "junking" it.

i watched about this like last week Chalks sea and airlines never actually fixed their planes since the models they used werent manufactured anymore so the wing had been bending from the weight of the lift of and from the strees of the flight for too long so it was the peak of the iceberg for the wing when this happened.
