@chawley Very nice. I'd love to do a Skip Barber school at some point, especially out at Laguna Seca.

Ya, both of my parents are quite trusting.
That being said, I am 30 yrs old and have plenty of go-fast experience, including a Skip Barber school at Laguna Seca and races at various tracks such as Mid Ohio and Road Atlanta. 10+ yrs autox exp, as well.
The AWD system in the R8 is quite neutral near the limit - even biased a bit towards the rear. It sure feels better than any other AWD I have driven, that's for sure. It's quite easy to steer the car with the throttle, just like a RWD car.

Wow, your dad must be pretty trusting to let you drive the R8 on a track like you are. Good driving lines though, and nice smooth entrances/exits from the turns.
Were you getting any understeer with the AWD system?
