For one, your a dumbass for putting it in reverse with only the parking brake on, and two, did you notice that was the times that it made the noise? It's making the noise because your a dipstick trying to find something wrong when there is nothing wrong.

the part where u put the car in rev and up the P brake i hear that sound on cold start up or when i start to roll out when the car is cold... once it warms up the sound goes away......

My Optima made the same noise. They couldn't figure it out either. I finally had enough of the problems with it and turned the car back it. It was in the shop for warranty work every three months. Cooling system had to be replaced, CV Joints and struts replaced three times in 20,000 miles. Check Engine light on constantly. I love the look of the Sorrento, but after all of the issues with the Optima I'm leery of Kia. One thing I will say, the warranty was a blessing and they never disputed it.
