  • the root cause is the idiotic multiculturalist and tolerance policy. the overhyped support to ethnic minorities in the UK and prosecution for any pale attempt to point out problems caused by their cultural heritage will lead to more racists and more violence.

  • @TesticuliDomini how is it 'idiotic'? these minorities have been persecuted against for most of our history, there's nothing wrong with making amends. the alternative is to go lax on negative sentiments towards minorities, so people who hear racist ideas aren't even sure if society thinks they're wrong. tolerance doesn't mean overhyping support for one minority- it means treating everyone equally, independent of cultural background.

  • @Autonova I have tried unfortunatly. The trouble is that she now live in the states and will not answer my phone calls nor my emails. There is little i can do as my father also now shares her feelings. So lucky for me I have an adoptive mom and she is wonderful to me.My boyfriends mother is also a very nice lady.

  • @ambercatgoddess Strange you've said that, my dad had a very similar relationship to his mum, and was estranged to her for like ten years. Then he found out she had cancer, and she died, and I think my dad wished he had ignored the political issues and still tried to see her. It's a very difficult situation, and I think you're handling it well, but just make sure she knows all the positive things you think of her or you might regret it.

  • @ambercatgoddess religious. Typo. But all i heard growing up was how england is being taken over etc..that she wished they would all go back where they came from.Yet when i reminded her that she was an immigrant to america she did not enjoy this. She married a native american and yet believed that the nazis were correct. It is disgusting.I cannot speak to her and believe me i tried for years to help her to see past the color of a persons skin to no avail. So all i can do is not be like her.

  • I refuse to watch televison.I do not get my news from the magazines or newspapers.I go and find it myself.I am from america and my Mother is from England. My Grandmother is from England and I am seeking my citizenship at the moment.I refuse to judge people based on race or religions preference or any of the other large number of so called differences in this world. We are all human beings and should be compassionate towards one another. My mother is just like that woman and we are estranged.

  • I agree with what you are saying. Certain papers, like the Daily Mail, just churn out loads of crap making people afraid of minority groups or think that everything in the world is going to give you cancer. Also I like how you acknowledged that British people are mostly all descendants form people who came form mainland Europe.

  • Not a real strike...they are just actors on stage
