SJMA Spring Recital 2011

After months of hard work and practice, on May 6th, 2011 we held The Saint James Music Academy Spring Recital. Featuring the SJMA Orchestra, Choir, and Kodaly groups.

Held at St. James Anglican Church - Vancouver, B.C.

We have partnered up with Long & McQuade (www.long-mcquade.com)! In addition to renting their instruments, every sponsored hit of this video sends money to the Saint James Music Academy.

One of the best projects in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside is this wonderful music academy. Look at the faces, listen to the sounds, and everyone knows that it works.

This is an amazing achievement for any children, but these kids have a tougher life than most and through music they are being given a chance to thrive.
