  • which lines go underground?

  • @dancena2 Hahaha, no underground lines in San Diego. There are 3 trolley lines that run in San Diego........Orange, Blue and Green. They have a purple line in the works.....will probably be completed in 1000 years.

  • I didn't know that you take light-rail. This is great. Think of the potential for a more intricate network around all major cities. The central terminal will be a transfer station to HSR. HSR can connect metropolitan areas and major airports to each other. We really have to move forward in traveling more sustainably. I support HSR because it is the most promising and returning compared to other propositions. I'm also a train enthusiast.

  • @th3gtr Well, it works IN SOME PLACES. Best to let PRIVATE companies set the HSR, then we will not be out billions when it fails.

  • @tickyul That's exactly what Japan did. The Tokaido Shinkansen started operation by JNR(Japan National Railways) and yes, it was state owned. In the 1980s, JNR was split into 6 different private railway companies. JR Central, the one that operates the Tokaido Shinkansen, has been making a profit from the line.

  • @th3gtr Well, you answered your own question. Look, if a private company is will to invest in really well thought out HSR, well, I am fine with that. But, it has to be an area that will allow it to make money, no government guarantee.....period......final.

  • I love the Blue Line. Thank you for this video...

  • @tickyul wb sdsu?

  • @757K I remember about 6 years ago it was mostly drug dealers hanging out on C st (some are still there). Now it is mostly bums, I do not know what I like less. I guess it feels a little safer on C st now, It is really run down and scummy though.

  • @757K Well, I for one would love to hear what you think should be done. I mean, come on, the morons in city hall think that the BUMS should dictate what goes on downtown.
