  • I was there for his last show. The memory of the enormous standing ovation Nick received at the end of this song and the look of total bewilderment at the extent of adoration his performance received.

A truly great Billy, the 'Master of the Angry Dance' and a really nice person and role model.

I will miss you Nick, miss you deeply!

  • BRAVO NICK!!!... that's all i can say...

  • yeah its obviously a sad preformance for them when the do the last show and electricity , something theyve worked so hard for and have been a part for for so long, must be hard for them not to fill up with tears and lose focus lol

  • I think you must be the world's biggest B.E. fan. Nick is gone from the show in Australia, so that's out. I have seen Kiril in NYC and Travis Yates in London. The night I saw Travis was strange. I had just received an email that morning telling me my father had passed away in Canada. I went to the show anyway, and hoped that somehow my dad was watching with me. The letter songs had much meaning for me that night. Travis & Kiril will always be my Billys. I will see Billy again Apr. 23 in NYC.

  • oh, yes. I forgot: fedrick. the one that I know had his voice cracking by the end of his run, but stayed with the original key when singing was corey snide.

I've watched Jamesx2,Georgex2,Liamx2,Leonx2, then I missed the rest of Billys till Coreyx2,Tannerx2,Tomx1 and Bradx2 (the last one was yesterday, Brad). BTW they trained Brad for 2 yr - even worse than Kulish's 9 months

I want to watch rhys (and if he is still billy, Nick Twiney as well) for a long time. Never happened. too far

  • I found photos of Hogan & Sam. They look quite tall. I know George and James grew fast in the role, not Liam. There have been rumours that Kiril may lose his role in NYC. I don't believe it. I saw him at the end of November and he was terrific. He was certainly singing The Letter in a high key then, with no problem. I can't believe they would train the boys for 9 months, then only give them 3 months in the role. It is much fairer to any Billy to lower the song. Nick must have been a great Billy.

  • come on. I think nick's voice is nicer. He CAN sing.

  • the ones that are known to sang it in lower key are george maguire, nick twiney, hogan fulton, sam angell, and possibly james lomas. though george sang at completely different key than the rest. not sure about james. I watched the show live and no recording exist. So I can't compare. I love this lower key version. the normal key exist somewhere in youtube, though

  • I just listened again Nick. I only wish that everybody once in their lives could have a moment like this. You are so lucky to have had this opportunity, Nick, but all good things must come to an end. Best wishes for a very happy future.

  • It's interesting to hear this song in a lower key. This is obviously a very heartfelt rendition of the song. I wonder if Nick always performed it like this, or was he almost in tears because of the occasion. In any event the audience obviously appreciated his performance and the emotion comes through loud and clear.

  • well, no kidding. his voice has changed. He will have to work out his new voice before he is at his best. It will happen to layton too!

  • how comes hes still on the website as a billy? :S
