This is at the Avian Conservation Center at the San Francisco Zoo is not open to the public. As a special event for the Talk on the Wild Side program, we got to babysit the baby penguins!

  • They are also called Magellatic Penguins.

  • I think it's because they keep braying like donkeys (jackasses). But I think their name was recently changed to "African Penguin".
