I think Simpson got some issues. Bullies like him are always frustrated about something. Maybe he is gay and he cant get over it, so he plays tough.

It wouldn't have matter had Horatio put down a wrong answer. He still would have been victimized by Simpson. Better you respect yourself and take the beatings. You can live through beatings but living with yourself is another matter. Clayton did the right thing and will be remembered for it. Had he killed Horatio, there would have been an inquest. It would have come out. It's rare to be born without a conscience but it is a trait of every serial killer. They are intelligent but worthless
