We're fascinated by tornados. Since studying real ones is dangerous, we decided to build our own tornado model to learn more about how these violent storms form. Our question: which is more important in forming a tornado, a sidewind or an updraft?

In reality, there are two elements that create twisters. Warm, moist air near the serface of the earth and cold, dry air from the upper atmosphere falling down upon the warm air. The warm air rises while the cold air falls. Given the right conditions the clash can create a vortex. It has nothing whatsoever to do with "updrafts" or "side winds". "Twin Cities" wrote a flawed, joke of a "scientific" explanation. Something I have had issues with since the filming. Sullivan.

This is Sullivan. I created the tornado model. "Alexa" had absolutely nothing to do with it. She was a hired actress. The script that "Twin Cities Public Television" wrote for us was complete nonsense. I plead that you absorb no false knowledge from this farce. Read my following comment.
