my 2 cents on healthcare reform

There was a "town hall meeting" on health care reform right next to my office last week. I never got in, but here's what I saw and how I feel about it.

At least under a gov't plan, EVERYONE would be covered. If everyone is covered, then everyone has a stake to make sure that the system works, and if everyone is paying in (because I think the government should force everyone to get health insurance the same way it forces everyone to get car insurance) then there will be more money to go around to cover those who have pre-existing conditions... there won't even be such a thing as a pre-existing condition anymore.

After watching a lot of videos, to me it seems that yes insurance stinks, but most also agree that government health care just replaces one sucky system with another. Insurance rations, government rations. There's lots of comparisons.

The primary care companies like Qliance actually remove both government and insurance companies, reducing over-head and lowering costs. Patients pay hardly anything per month and they are the happiest patients. Go figure.
