http://lnk2.biz/smCxSF I'm often asked about how to protect content when using Amazon S3 to store content. Amazon S3 is an excellent platform to display video's and audio's from, as well as provide downloads of large files -- it's quick and optimized to deliver content to website visitors -- however, 'securing' links so that they can't be shared with others is sometimes a concern to website owners who want to deliver 'training' or 'members only' content.

I've been trialling a wordpress plugin called SecureDL and I thought I would share how to use it with JW Player to deliver video content.

To view the entire tutorial - and gain access to all the codes, visit: http://lnk2.biz/smCxSF and register for free.

  • @tonysboris1 Hi Tony - the link in the description of the video goes to the exact page on my site where the rest of the tutorial is - along with all the code information you need. I'm not able to post the link in this reply otherwise I would have.

  • You can protect your video for free with view permissions in Amazon S3 linked to a membership option. Beyond that, hiding the URLs is nothing. If people can view the content, they can grab it from their web cache or RAM memory cache, and share it
