critics of web 3.0 don't realize that they are now users of web 2.0... which of course they hated via web 1.0 ... I guess they hated web 1.0 via actual human to human interactions... and we all know how we all hate doing That!!!

Part 3 what's funny is the one thing that we associate with the web; the freedom of ideas eventually will become the one and only thing we can trade or make money of off, as these ideas can exist in a place totally cut of from direct contact with the web; are brain. Now while many idea may be up-load to the web, we choose what we up-load. So in a sense you could sell an idea only problem being; once it out there you won't get it back, it's a one off sale.

Part 2 Two once a person has reached a certain level of ability and the resources are available they can learn anything and everything independently of everyone else. Out these first two things; we are even now seeing them develop, they exist. The original will be the hardest to achieve how can you ever make an absolute perfect copy of a physical item; well once again, it's only so long before we have a machine that is capable of creating items from the atoms up.

Part 1 I think he's wrong when he refers to things that are not copyable; I think yes we will always pay for exclusivity "time is money" and we will always pay to get an original and that we will always need someone to teach us. I think eventually though all of these things will become free as fast as they are available; as they each have level that once reached will allow people free access, one someone will provide a free service that essentially is a search engine of some sort.

This is actually scary the web has the same capacity as a human brain, though we couldn't say it's conscious as a computer and thus the web are only adding machines; so it would seam possible, but how would we know for sure, this is the first time we've came face to face with a organism with a similar if not equal or higher capacity for intelligence.

One he missed was the human element: It's fun to watch comedians on YouTube but more entertaining to bring friends/dates to a show. Another is ELIMINATING the human element to create an abundance of cheap content. A Star Trek buff has seen every movie 5 times and wants something new, so for $5 the StarTrek web server generates a random script and renders the movie in real-time (no expensive actors). Similar to personalization, but emphasis on production efficiency.

Haven't watched it all yet but sounds to me like John Lily was right. The semiconductor consciousness is upon us. The global economy will evolve along with this because it will depend upon its survival. This is big brother make no mistake about it.

I´m anxious. People like Kevin build the atomic bomb - and now the matrix. They don´t learn form Chernobyl, they don´t learn from Goethes Faust, they don´t learn from Hollywood. Every idea which is thought, will be build. Listen: The matrix will be the absolute media - the absolute slavery. In danger to repeat myself: I´m anxious. Please study Régis Debray - Mediology - and you will see the strukture of force and power of capitalism. Dear mankind.
