Part3 of 5: Captain Mark Casey flies a Jet2.com Boeing 757 to Lanzarote from Cork. A VideoTV.ie LenseOnLife Oliver Leamy Production. Take Off from Cork Airport. InFlight footage from the cockpit of a B757 enroute from Cork to Lanzarote Airport.
Why does the co-pilot's name change from Lee to Tom to Simon over the course of these videos? I guess it could be one captain's sectors from Cork to Lanzarote over a while rather than filming one actual sector as it seems at first.
@surreyboy84 haha that can be explained by the 757 not being the newest aircraft, it has actually been discontinued and is being replaced by the new 737 MAX
@boeing757200american he meant that in the flight plan they filed in cork they agreed on 37000ft but once they reached the moment for increase to 37000 they were switched down to 35000 instead due to atc restriction enroute. which leads to more air resistance against the aircraft therefore a larger impact on fuel consumption. Love seeing this side of the job!

That was a quick climb! I flew on a Thomson 757 aircraft to Egypt recently (G-OOOX). Cabin was a bit cramped and dated.
