@bayyagg fyi, our national budget for beefing up the military is still lower than the budget for subsidy for the people. Although the budget for military spending has reached USD 17 billion, It's still less than 5% of our national outcome, most of the money are considered to provide fuel, food security, education, and build more factories. Beside, the army is focusing on spending the budget for local industries including food supplies, so it is a mutual benefit for both the people and the army.

@bayyagg absolutely yes... welfare is important but also essential to strengthen national defense. Including improving the infrastructure for the sustainable development. Creating new jobs and stimulate investors to invest. And many more plans drawn up by the government, so not only on the modernization of armaments.

@bayyagg you right, but we all know the latin proverb "civis pacem parabelum" "if you want to live in peace, you've to be ready for war". Yeah, we've people that suffering from hunger such as India, or even China, but our Economic capability boom now has encouraged the government to spend more money to beef up military strength. Indo is one of G-20 members that makes us should be in an equal line with the other member like China, Turkey. Haha China is one of Indo's partner in military technology
