This is an experiment (a prototype in Blender) of a new feature we are developing in our makehuman software. It's a new, original next-gen tool, that automatically models the most probable realistic head. So the user needs just a few clicks to roughly set the most important facial features, and makehuman will do the rest of the work :-)
Actually we have a limited DB at the moment, so the results are still limited.

  • what does this do any way? it seems from video that initial vertice tweaks are lost once these random perturbations start?

  • They are not random pertubations :-) Are statistical elaborations.

  • Shit no, can't you work on more useful functions? Like proper Wacom support, prettier user interface, poses like in the old alpha?

  • No.

  • i was accuatly going to donate but when you just answere OpticalFascism with a "no" when requesting some of the key features, i cant really see any potential or future in this application.

  • Genetic algorithms?

  • is there any plans for ubuntu 64 bit?

  • That's the point. It's supposed to lose them.

It takes a less realistic face and makes it more realistic.

  • huh?

  • wow,that will definitely prove useful,makehuman rocks!
