anyone out there that knows ANYTHING about making games plz contact me so i get a small team going, thanks

  • L4D Bill???

  • @DaKluwn not as they are in their rawform, you will need to retopologize them then bake the displasement and normals by extracting the surface detail from the high ress onto you lower poly count model and the lower poly models shuld be topologised for animation, then you need to rigg the models suited for the game engine of choise, and so after all the texturing and shader maps is done you can compile the whole thing into an ingame character

  • Can you compile the models of Zbrush in to video games?

  • @stonereflex actually you sound inept at 3d graphics

this is zbrush this program is specifically designed to add extreme detail to your models and create the bump maps and normals for your models

any detail you add to your model in zbrush will be exported in normal map form then this normal map get applied on the low poly version designed for rendering or a game

  • @xXVintersorgXx that's very true, there are all sorts of bump mapping/displacement mapping and texture mapping styles that could make this very detailed looking. Who ever gave you downthumbs is apparently inept at 3d graphics and rendering.

  • everyone says things about "details"? isnt that added with the texture that you put over it?

  • You ran out of your days- 30 days?

  • good job! now you habe to add more detailing! keep away
