Some SUPER SONGS on this album released in 1977 on Columbia Records. Uploaded 4 songs to start with: 'If it wasn't for the Wabash River' , 'Calilou', 'No Earthly Good' and 'A Wednesday Car'. The album is a semi-roadmovie-story kind of thing. Songs and dialogues. SUPER ALBUM. Reached nr. 31 in the album-charts back then. Too low, i know! Enjoy it! The Doc, www.robdokter.com
And this week's Wednesday song--from Johnny Cash.

This is a funny look at our car industry, which even then was going downhill fast.

@doomayam If you like this song. you will love the album .. has songs like AFTER THE BALL & HIT THE ROAD & GO that are equallly as funky as this one .along with some of his finest balladds an vocals to date ... I cant praise this album enough ... discovering it was like discovering some hidden treasure ...as with THHE KINKS -SCHOOLBOYS IN DISGRACE album ... so much work an effort went into tis album an so little acknowledgement came it was cos it was put out when JOHNNY CASH werent in fashion

I couldnt agree with you more ... this album is one of his greatest an a hidden GEM .. not many people heard it ... but its a fine peace of work that i find myself re playing often .. It has a bit of everything that JC is known an loved for... vocaly an lyrically it has some real highlights NO EARTHY GOOD .. MY COWBOYS LAST RIDE . pretty deep songs .. the diologs add to the charm of the album.....if this album was released in the late 60s or post 94 it would be regarded by all as a masterpiece
