Speaking about Patrick Swayze's career movie critics only give a credit to Dirty Dancing, Ghost and Point Break ( in most case) but I don't agree - he had many other great films and Road House is one of them. It was really memorable film of late 80's and Patrick did a wonderful job. 1989 was full of underrated films - this one, Lock Up (with S.Stallone), The Punisher (with D.Lungren), True Blood (with Sherilyn Fenn) etc

I dont remember him ever driving a Firebird in this movie. Whats up with the song saying "his Firebird car"? He drove a Benz and some old beater he bought local.

one of the men men in this movie was undefeated kick boxing champ who gave him lessons just for this movies in which he used in other movies as well !
