My father doesn't care how I feel, it only proves to him my weakness so the best thing for me to do is to love myself and my friends who love me and not give him much thought. It's not how I would like things to be but it is how they are. Be a better parent to your children. That's all you can do.

you know what, you can never change other people so let it be as not supportive as that sounds, but what you can change is how you percieve the all the crap, just dont let it get to you, life has its ups and downs and with your willpower and strengh i know you will ride this one out=)

i am so sorry that you are feeling this way, and it is incredibly unfair that your father has made you feel this way. it is awful, but his opinion of you, and the fact that he might treat you poorly shouldnt determine your self worth. i know its hard, but maybe try to tell yourself that hes the one whos losing out.

Yes, I deal with it everyday. From the moment I wake up. I've been reading some books that help. My worst is when I'm in the shower and the "stinky thinking" starts. It's very painful and I know how hard it is.
