Walt Disney Animation Studios returns to the Hundred Acre Wood with "Winnie the Pooh," the first big-screen Pooh adventure from Disney animation in more than 35 years. With the charm, wit and whimsy of the original featurettes, this all-new movie reunites audiences with the philosophical "bear of very little brain" and friends Tigger, Rabbit, Piglet, Kanga, Roo—and last, but certainly not least, Eeyore, who has lost his tail.

  • ...so, why did they have to replace the voices in order to re-release this on the Blu Ray? Wouldn't it have been better (and cheaper) to just use the original Everything and just add a new intro? This confuses me...not that its that bad, it just seems rather unnecessary...

  • @haylz27 Dude! They haven't stopped making them! The recent gap with no 2d movies has only been 5 years starting from 2004-2009. In 2009, they came out with Princess and the Frog. That was only two years ago!

  • Oh, my childhood! :D I've missed you!

  • 0:45 Tigger became so scared that he fart! XP

  • @clayrox117 Well, I think the reason they wanted to do redubs is because Disney

wanted these clips to sound more modern like the Pooh movies we watch today compared to the older cartoons. The only redubs I really don't like are the voices of

Rabbit and Piglet. They sound totally wrong, you know what I mean?

  • @seangreag And about Kanga's voice, now it just seems out of place with all the new voices. You can clearly tell that it is a re-used line instead of a new one, which makes it stick out. (And I am still calm, don't worry, hahaha. I hate negativity in youtube comments)

  • @seangreag haha, have no fear, I am calm, I'm just stating my opinion. And I am glad that you are able to do the same. And I respect the fact that you are fine with the re-dubs, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. And yes, its not the biggest tragedy in the world or anything. But I feel that I takes away from the original masterpiece. Not that the new stuff is bad, but it will never be able to compare with the original (at least, in this case).

  • @clayrox117 Calm down, would you? I'm fine with all the re-dubs, and besides, if

you like the original voices better, Kanga's voice hasn't changed at all

  • Come on guys, why do we have to complain so much about the voices? Let's just be happy and enjoy Winnie the Pooh! :( Yes, I remember the original too, but the new voices fit just as well; just be happy they haven't changed the characters themselves!

  • I'm okay with John Cleese narrating, but the rest of them are just... wrong.

  • I'm glad I still have the originals on VHS. Someday I hope I can digitize it. Because those original voice actors are irreplaceable!

  • hahaha
