@kingfield99 You've nailed it, mate. Who else was covering 'Sister Anne' in 1996? These guys got me into the MC5 when I heard their version on Radio One. This album was a corker and was far too exciting and cool and black leather for the post-britpop slump and dour Ocean Color Scene types.

My person agrees with you all. These Animal Men most underrated and under-appreciated music peoples. Hot and talented.

I loved this back then and after not hearing it for years I still love it! They really evolved as a band from tinny mod new wave chancers to these great glam concept Mott The Hoople esque songwriters. Shame no one really got them, this record way just too out of it's time. thnx for putting it up.

Second single from the album Accident and Emergency, think they more or less split up after this, such a shame that they never got round to releasing New Wave Girl, Riverboat Captain and When Your Hands Are Tied as singles
