I started filming this segment by going to the park as a warm up spot. I would meet Tom Krauser here 3 days a week before we would go skating in the Inland Empire. I was working with Tom on a part for 411 while also filming for the Osiris video, 'Subject to Change'.
After one week and a few people randomly showing up, I decided to put the call out and actually do a spot check of the park for 411. Over the next month, a huge number of people showed up to skate the park and it was such a good time. Every session was super productive and I went home with a few tapes full of good stuff.
I had all the footage sitting around and thought it would make a great video part. 411 only used about 45 seconds of the material in issue #48 and I was sitting on the rest of it. So one night, I got inspired and made this part. Who knew a few years later I would be posting it for the public to see. I love the internet.
I have to give a special thanks to Tom Krauser and Mike Santarossa for helping make this part come together.

i live on silven glen which is the strret the skate park is. i come here almost everyday since i was like 11. THE BEST PLACE EVER TO SKATE
