Although I didn't know Riley Baker, I was privileged to be the Ride Captain for the Patriot Guard Riders to honor this hero - KIA in Anbar Province, Iraq on June 22, 2006 - as he was laid to rest. This video is heavy on pictures of the Patriot Guard Riders rather than pictures of Riley, but these are the pictures I had available. I hope they will stand as a tribute to Marine Cpl. Riley Baker, as we stood to honor him on that sad day.
The song is "Somebody's Someone" by Lonestar.
Pictures were taken by my friend "Leanman" and other riders present.

I served with CPL Riley Baker. He was an outstanding person and a great Marine. I have many memories of him in Iraq. He is missed throughout the whole 3rd Battalion 8th Marines family. I love every Marine that I ever served with. Semper Fi Marine.

You should feel so honored to have participated in this. I did not know the man personally, but my father did, and it was one of the only times I have seen him ever cry. I remember that this was the day the town went utterly silent.

One side not, funny, since Obama has been in office there are 941 fallen from combat. I have YET to hear any news caster read those names. Before, you heard the names nightly.
