@WytZox1 I thought the animated "Beany and Cecil" cartoons were filmed in 1962 and 1963; "Gilligan's Island" premiered in 1964.

Anyone ever stop to think that this cartoon was for the pure enjoyment for adults and not so much directed for children? This cartoon was and perhaps, maybe to share some history and to encourage the children of that era to participate covert operations and espionage...lol Cape Banana peal..aka: Cape Canaveral...This is a humoristic cartoon for the government...

I used to watch these cartoons with my dad when I was a kid. He knew who all of the cartoon voices were (Stan Freberg,Daws Butler, June Foray, etc.) and we would both laugh our asses off, for different reasons but it was a great way to spend time with the old man. I was such a big fan someone gave me a beany copter for my 11th birthday. I wish I had it now.
