Lol 80's horror is scary now but not back in the day, I've never heard anyone say that before. I can only imagine your face grimacing as you make those intense battle noises. ^_^ Yeah the campaign would have taken you weeks if not months to review. Kirk maneuver, what are you going time travel and save some whales? Great review man, mega nostalgia remembering the hours I spent fighting my buddies in space. :D

Loved it! If you google "Ur-Quan Masters", you can play the sequel for free. It's got more ships, you can play over the internet, and the single player game is more fun (in my opinion). I'm even making a sequel to that game called "Project 6014" with high resolution graphics. There's a new demo out if you want to download that too. You can also check out my channel to see a trailer for the game too.

@MikeGartner To be honest, I have not played a campaign all the way through so I'm gonna keep my mouth shut. After all this time playing this game I just realized the aliens pictured at the right of the screen move for every control you make. I have a love hate relationship with Genesis music.

Sadly the games were every space ship was aptly described as the "Disney Castle" or maybe I'll go "dick and balls" are long gone. Who can forget the Galactic Battle of Anchor V Croissant? Molecule V Croissant? Right about the AI, very impressive

@MikeGartner The music after the wins or defeats are awesome. Cool sound effects too. I remember that green ship with the fighters from ads and reviews in Electronic Gaming Monthly. I bet this game is awesome with two players. How's the main version of the game? Boring? Is the majority of it mining and shit? Great review. Looking forward to the next one.

First off, I wouldn't have found this video, unless I clicked on your channel. The new You Tube layout is horrendous. Second, you know a review is going to be good when the reviewer gets absolutely demolished in the first twelve minutes of the video. The problem with the Genesis sound chip was that most companies never learned the nuances with it. Ever play a Flying Edge game for the Genny? Sounds like the inside of the toilet as diarrhea spews out the ass.
