  • Great version of a classic song. I've got a version on the tube with my Dad playin his D-45 Martin and my Neat Banjo. I've incorporated my D-Tuners into the song. No singing, but some traditional playin. Would be nice to play merge our versions (But mine's in D!!!) See what ya think!!!

  • well first of all i would like to say you are a fantastic banjo player . absolute top class. yes i think that would be very nice if you merged the two together . just one thing . i didnt bother to check my tuning . and i have noticed im sharp . i was playing that in d . could it still be done . could you send me your link to you and your dad playing that song please .thankyou for you responce ........ darren knight

  • Nice work on the guitar...great tune.

  • well done

  • @sbewsky hi......... no i bought from a store in tennersee 3 years ago it was new . i brought it back to england . it was a right handed gibson i had it changed over to left here in england .. it has a very nice tone to it and very easy to play

  • That's funny. If you bought that Gibson J-45 at 12th Fret in Toronto last year that's my old guitar.

  • Outstanding!!!love the Marty Robbins version as well.I also like gibson guitars.love your voice too!!!

  • Dave- Great job on one of my favorite tunes. Would love to see/hear you performing at a folk music festival!

  • A higher voice than I expected, but a good rendition of a classic............

  • You are very good! Too bad you're so far away. You could go with me tonight to the McDowell Gold Jubilee and be a big hit.

  • thanks i love it

  • Excellent!!! Your version is great and thanx for the compliments!!! Your guitar playin is excellent...
