I love how people are complaining about the CBC being liberal like it's the only other news source out there.
CTV and Global aren't taxpayer funded and they're doing just fine.

I can explain the meaning of some elements in this sequence:
SUN: It's from the Sun.
NEWS: It is "news".
Maps of Canadian Provinces: Sun News will bring division and conflict to Canada.

@park888 Really? Would it be able to get such ratings without a $1 billion budget paid for with our tax dollars? The only reason the CBC gets the olympics or any sporting events is because it has huge funding with which to outbid their privately owned competition. Also, I would be very suspicious of those who decide for the BBM who gets what ratings since they give top ratings to garbage programming like America's Top Model and Jersey Shore.

Also - glad to see the Territories in that... Province/Territory jumble at the end. We always feel so left out up here, y'know?

@cobalt545 Yea why don't you check out the BBM reports that are issued quarterly. You know THE RATING SYSTEM FOR RADIO AND TV. The CBC RANKS #1 in almost EVERY MARKET.
