I just bought this cymbal, and I have to say I was actually very disappointed with it. It has a metallic, robotic sound and a washy buildup that over powers the ride after just a few strikes. Also, the bell is just too damn loud. I play extremely loud metal music, and it's about ten times louder than any of my cymbals before or after, so it stands out too much. Also, whenever I use it my band mates all look at me like "what the hell was that?"

this is wild ride!

this any good for crashing?

@stvexplos But mate, all these these you said are quite obvious on this video. The metallic sound, loud as hell bell etc.. Nothing to surprise to
-
OMG the bell is SO LOUD that the crash was completely muted at 0:14! I don't really like this cymbal though. Bell is too loud and the bow is too washy for my taste.

I still think sabian's hh,aax and aa power bell rides sound the best out of all the big bell rides.
-
Haha, one of Meinl's biggest beast rides together with byzance jazz crash. :D
-
Is this Like The Zildjian Mega Bell Ride? Cuz I'm Switching From Zildjian to Meinl and i was seeing if this is like the same thing.
-
@miholiptis Yup, The Chris adler signature ride is awesome. but like you said, it's way too expensive. This cymbal is alot cheaper and still is great for metal.
-
@miholiptis I did'nt know it was a signature... i thought there only signature cymbal was The mb20 24" Pure Metal Ride.
-
i think this is the john boecklin signature or something (the drummer from devildriver) so its dor metal! REAL METAL!
is the bell bigger than the pasite rude 24" mega bell ride?

I believe that Paiste Eclipse ride has the largest bell.
