Notice how Represent.Us doesn't blame one party or another for this situation? It is because Republican and Democrat public servants both play this game. I am simply pointing out that under this system with checks and balances, there are countless immoral actions being taken on a daily basis. It doesn't matter how government is structured, whether it be democracy, republic, or any other form, when a group of people is given the monopoly of force the society is based around immorality. The fact that some or even all have a say in how the violence is directed does not change the fact that the initiation of violence is wrong.
