I hate to comment twice, but it seems the items in your inventory affected your stats while they sat in your inventory. My evidence is there's no way she would've had 160+ art without the special brush, and you never "equipped" it or anything.

Also that's probably right about the inventory items. I never even noticed or put two and two together there. And to think I avoided stockpiling some of those items because I didn't know how to us them. Dang it!
