I got diagnosed with PV back in april of this year. I'm going thru chemotherapy with rituxamab and so far all appears to be going well. I've been on high dose of prednisone which stopped the flare ups. As a result of the prednisone treatment, I've been getting a lot of skin infections so that appears to be complicating my treatment so doctors also have me on antibiotics and antibacterial drugs. If anyone else has PV, inform perhaps we can share and compare treatments.
