@FATMUSICGUY i agree but to be hounest that was a soft call by the president in NSW (Australia) we have had 62 deaths in Rugby union this year in the u19s which is pretty scary for me now cuz i play in U19s 2 but most of them are from internal bleeding in the chest area which probably means if the dumb fucks went to hospital instead of watching the game they wouldn't be dead but nfl is brutal because you get hit from the side and back everyone but rugby has hardest head on tackles

the reason we wear padding is because before it was mandated the game averaged 38 deaths a year, so president Roosevelt threatened to abolish the sport if safety precautions were not taken. this is because the way that our football flows allows for much harder hits as recievers are often left sitting ducks after a catch (because they have their heads turned around to see the ball coming) and do not see the defenders in front of them.
