fqd (flatbank quarterpipe driveway) was the idea and work of gareth hughes, to make a DIY skate spot at the old hospital where most of us local skaters were born. this is only a rough cut, but i made it from all the footage gareth filmed and gave me, with a few photos I had taken, so this is more to come for those who are interested/skated it. the spot got destroyed eventually as all good things come to an end, but good things come to those who SKATE!!! peaceee

  • what did u use to make the quarter pipe besides the bricks?

  • @Steezyfeet we used bricks to make the shape/transition, then covered it with wire mesh, then smoothed it over with concrete made from a sand and concrete mix. and then you can put stuff over that like sealent or whatever to make it smooth
