Some video shot on the Rebel t3i at 60fps, using Twixtor Express to slow down the footage to 1000fps.

Twixtor Express is far from perfect. There are basically no settings to tweak, so you have to be careful with the shots you try to slow down and you have to be using a pretty high shutter speed (2000 - 4000) to get the clarity needed for the right effect.

Music is Run and Play by Bien Concepcion (that's me)...

  • Dude, that is fucking sick! Love this video

  • @rock962000 Thanks man!

  • how do i get twixtor to work on final cut pro X? does anybody know? & twixtor can be used on MacBooks right?

  • @Joshneal85 I'm not sure. I was hesitant to upgrade to X because I'm not sure if the plugin is available for it.

  • @Ciqify well I know that if you put it on manual mode, you can adjust the shutter all the way to 4000, but I'm not sure if the lens itself has a limit on the shutter speed? Usually I just crank the wheel on the top of the camera and it can go up to 4000.

  • @CaptivateProduction it's a 50mm prime 1.4 lens.

  • I really enjoy this footage and it has been instrumental in my decision to purchase the T3i instead of the Nikon D5100. 60fps is huge. Nikon missed the boat on that. Thanks for posting

  • I watched this over 5 times today before I purchase my T3i :')

  • 0:45 *swing is littered with baby poop*

  • This is beautiful. The way you captured the little kids having fun with such simple things makes me wanna start doing Parkour again :) <3

    Thanks

  • This looks epic. Just a bit of constructive critisicm. I think that in the beginning, you overdid the color correction, and the buy's face looks green.

    That's all.

    :D

  • Can you tell me how much this camera was? :)

  • @Joshneal85 unfortunately it doesn't work on X

  • @Joshneal85 I believe I saw somewhere else that it doesn't have a plugin for final cut pro x

  • How do you shoot 1000fps with the T3i?
