Mitchie sighed before she began to undress. Once she was completely undressed she dipped her big toe into the water, testing the temperature. Once she was used to it she slipped into the bubbly water, sighing in contentment. She let her sore, tired muscles relax as the warm water soothed her. She closed her eyes and leaned her head against the side of the tub. She finally let her guard down after having to keep it up for so many days. It felt good to her. Suddenly the door burst open. Mitchie silently yelled at herself for not locking it, ducking her body into the water, keeping her head above. She looked for the intruder only to see a laughing Caitlyn.

Caitlyn: oh come on Mitchie, We’re both girls. You don’t have anything I don’t.
Mitchie: *stays in her position* Caitlyn, what are you doing here?!
Caitlyn: dropping off some clothes for you seeing as it would be awkward if Shane came in instead of me.
Mitchie: and this isn’t awkward to you because it is to me?
Caitlyn: like I said we’re both girls. Now I’ll leave you alone. *turns to leave*
Mitchie: lock the door please!
Caitlyn: *locks the door closing it behind her* (A.N. it was a lock that locked from the inside)
Mitchie: *sighs, sitting up*

Mitchie quietly reached for the rag that was on the edge of the tub. She grabbed it, put soap on it, and began to clean herself scrubbing at the dirt that stuck to her body. Once she had that when she reached for the shampoo. She squirted it into her hand and began working it through her hair. She took a deep breath before she ducked her head under the water to get rid of the shampoo. When she came back up she repeated the process with the conditioner. Her body clean, she sat back to relax. Then something caught her eye. She reached over and grabbed the object. It was the rubber ducky. She squeaked it and giggled before placing it on the water.

*half hour later*

Mitchie reached over and grabbed the two towels that Shane had left her. She climbed out of the tub after unplugging the drain and wrapped a towel around her hair then the other around her body after towel drying her legs down. Once she thought she was dry enough she removed the towels and dressed herself in her sheep pajamas. It was a plain baby blue short sleeve top with a slightly darker shade of blue pants that had little sheep jumping over fences. Once she was dressed she began to comb her hair and once she thought she was presentable she opened the bathroom door and stepped into the cabin, to find a sight that made her heart swell with happiness.

Mitchie: mommy! *runs and hugs her mom*
Connie: *hugs Mitchie* oh Mitchie. My baby! * looks at Mitchie sternly* don’t you ever scare me like that again!
Mitchie: I won’t.
Connie: oh my sweetie. I can’t believe I almost lost you. I’m so glad you’re safe. Now how about I bring you some soup and you take a nap?
Mitchie: okay mom. I love you.
Connie: I love you too sweetie. Now relax.
Shane: *has quietly been standing in the corner* if anyone asks, Mrs. Torres-
Connie: please Shane. Mrs. Torres is my mother. Call me Connie.
Shane: well, if anyone asks you, Connie, you’re bringing me the soup. Mitchie doesn’t want the camp knowing she’s here yet.
Connie: okay. *leaves*
Mitchie: *standing there awkwardly*
Shane: you can sit down you know.
Mitchie: okay… where exactly?
Shane: oh um that bed over there. * Points to the bed that was actually made*
Mitchie: *sits on it* so…
Shane: *sits on his bed* so…
Mitchie: *under her breath* awkward.
Shane: what was that?
Mitchie: nothing.
Shane: *picks up his guitar, starts strumming*
Mitchie: that’s good.
Shane: thanks, I guess. Not really paying attention. Just letting my fingers wander.

Okay guys. I know it had been a long time and I’m sorry. I’ve been really busy.
