A three-minute spot using cut out animation, dancing animated doodles with faces and voices of famous people, parodying the California deficit crisis of 2008.

The spot parodied several notable pieces of literature, natural disasters and politics, from Charles Dickens' Christmas Carol and A Tale of Two Cities to Arnold Schwartzenegger's movies and public policy. The main JibJab was a parody of A Christmas Carol, to show the severity of California's fate if things don't change in the governor's office. A multi-talented voice impersonator brought a very serious message across with comedy to encourage voters to sign and send a holiday card to their legislatures, pleading that they stop cutting and start saving California.
