  • which game is better? this one or the first game?

  • @NadrianATRS Depends on the players. Personally, I preferred this one. ;)

  • So can Metal Gear 2 attack you

  • @TheTaylorJohnson1 Not really. Solid Snake will only die if Metal Gear 2 succeeds into launching his attack against the world... Snake could also die if he gets careless with his weapons... ;)

  • Actually, when Kojima joined Konami, he wanted to be on NES/Famicom development team, but got assigned to the MSX development team. That's why Metal Gear 1 was made first for the MSX.

  • Cyborg Big Boss = Solidus Snake

  • The only way this can be "canon" is that Snake dreamed this one night when he went to sleep

  • @5nesta He could just have created it in another way. In fact he' s not the real big boss, the one of the mg on msx and mgs.

  • @TheDemocritusjunior just think though, Big Boss HAD to create outer heaven for this to happen. Thus mgs3, mgspo, mgspw, and mg1 up till this point. I see your point too, but something had to happen, and since it was suppose to be a sequel, thats what we got.

  • @5nesta Well, that' s surely correct if we talk about the msx version of metal gear, but I don' t think it is surely like this if we talk about the nes version. I think it' s most correct to say that both the nes games are a "parallel universe" to the msx games, and so we can' t say we know the past of the nes games.

  • true, but Im just sayin the gaame designers probably intended for it to be the same past. mgs3, mgspo, and mgspw had to happen or there wouldnt be an outer heaven, and there wouldnt be a sequel(even non-cannical ones)

  • @5nesta Well, the story of the nes version of metal gear 1 was quite different from the original version, so i think both the metal gear games on nes should be considered as a "parallel universe" to the msx version and the mgs games. And so i don' t think we could say to know something about what had happened before the nes version of metal gear.

  • since this was supposed to be a sequel(even though its non-cannical and not made by kojima), it's like a parallel universe to the 2nd metal gear. I mean they had this game to come after the events of metal gear 1, and since metal gear 1's big boss is naked snake, then this big boss is also naked snake

  • @5nesta I don' t think it is correct to say that big boss in this game is naked snake, since this is not the "real" metal gear series (for "real" metal gear series i mean metal gear 1 and 2 on msx and the metal gear solid games), so we can' t know the past of this big boss.

  • Msx I mean.d*** auto correct

  • MG was originally for max along with MG 2
