The Top 40 Songs of 2005 ~ Pt. 1 (40-21)

Why only 40? Well... while there were some good songs in the 41-100 range, it just wasn't enough to make me want to make a countdown of them. After all, these were the top 40~ the ones that make you the most nostalgic (no clue if I spelled that right)! Isn't it weird? These songs were played into the freaking ground in 2005, to the point where you'd turn off your radio when they came on, but now they are sweet reminders of the year? Odd.

I did this because (1) I could use the break from making unofficial music videos and (2) because... I love 2005. Like, love love. It was, simply put, the best year of my life. The music, the movies... it all seemed to enhance my feelings of calm and contentment. For crying out loud, my grandfather died that year, and it's still the best year of my life. Ah... if I could live in a time loop that repeatedly continued that year forever... I would gladly live in it.

I do not own any of the video clips seen here. They belong to their respectful owners and copyrights, who retain all rights. I worked really hard to make this video, and I love the music supplied by the artists and record companies, so I'd really appreciate if they wouldn't get me into any copyright trouble. I mean... I know that I'm not part of the labels or companies, so technically I have no rights and they can so easily file a claim and get me in trouble, but... I just love the music and I just want everyone to feel that. I really do mean no harm.
