If the date of this tornado seems familiar to some, that's because it was spawned from the same supercell as the Wichita Falls twister. Many say that the Seymour tornado, had it struck a city or town, would have been capable of producing F4 damage. But since it stayed out on the plains and only knocked down a few trees and telephone poles, it was given an official rating of F2.

when you see tornados that look like its pitch black its because either the soil from that area is really dark or the camera at that time didn't have a high contrast colour
