My dad had one of those. He bought his for $400. it was freakin awazing! we would drive it through ponds and drift it in the field. i was even taught how to drive in that thing.and the day that it got stuck in fifth gear was a sad day. we really put that thing through. R.I.P 87 Toyota Tercel

The old school toyotas (not those new bloated ones) are truly unkillable. I've got a '96 tercel DX with almost 200,000 miles that still runs like new.
That little car will start when its -50 below zero (damn you minnesota) and always takes excellent care of me.
I dont want any other car but that friggin tercel.
